Vitamins
BNP tests many matrices for the quantity and quality of vitamins.
The vitamin centre employs an international team of highly experienced chemists, microbiologists and laboratory technicians and applies state-of-the-art equipment and IT tools for management and communication.
In the USA, our vitamin centre is based in a new building in Des Moines. This centre is custom-built to combine an efficient process flow with analytical excellence.
Concentrating all vitamin testing in one location per continent enables BNP to provide customers with reliable results based on internationally recognised reference methods at very attractive turn-around times and competitive prices.
In addition to standard tests we offer – on our customers’ request – the implementation, optimisation, and validation of customer specific methods. Development of new and optimisation of existing methods is continuously ongoing in order to meet future requirements for testing and documentation at an international level.
For standard vitamin testing mainly USP, AOAC, and EN/ISO methods are applied.

Quality and R&D
Reliable and correct results are the main concerns for the customer when choosing a laboratory for vitamin testing. BNP gives highest priority to quality – applying a well implemented quality assurance system and validated methods, daily test of quality performance, extensive use of reference materials (CRM, SRM), and participation in international proficiency tests, and – of course – the laboratory is accredited according to ISO 17025. Beside the technical quality, we are very aware of our service quality – only results delivered on time meet the quality target.
In addition, having all vitamin testing activities based at a single location makes it possible to focus on R&D work. Development of new and optimisation of existing methods is continuously ongoing in order to meet future requirements for testing and documentation at an international level.
A Competent Partner
BNP is not only a supplier of laboratory services.
